ACL tear.
Really feel for the guy. He had grown so much over the years.
Timeline-wise he would likely return to cutting sports sometime late summer. He has already redshirted once so his career at CofC is likely over. Doesnt make a lot of sense to come back if you ask me.
I wish him the best and hope he is able to still fulfill his dreams.
Team will have to rally. In the long term we may be better off. In the short run it weakens an already depleted team.

All players get an extra year due to covid. Every senior on team is eligible to return next year if they choose to do this.matrojan wrote:ACL tear.

Is there any report out on how serious his injury is?

It's an ACL tear.
I know he is technically eligible, but if the idea is improving his professional prospects not sure he gains being a 6th year senior.
