This opinion/prediction did not age well. In fairness, when it was made, fear was over the top by the media and by health officials. Now with the benefits of hindsight, both college and professional football have done really well with no significant health issues.

Fair enough....
We were fortunate the second boom happened in November to present and not earlier like the historic Spanish flu did.
Also colleges seemed to respond with a very well coordinated testing regimen for all their students. This likely shielded athletes from unnecessary extra exposures.

jfc, shielded young healthy athletes from nothing. :roll: :roll: the hype from the politisized medical community and their agenda should be ashamed of themselves. science took a backseat over the past 20 months.
