Season is over. Decent season but very inconsistent.

Re: CAA tourney
It seemed like the eight days we were off after we beat South Carolina was a major deterrent for us. That game they lost on the walk-off against UNCW was enormous. The difference between being a 2 seed and the 3 in the CAA tourney is significant.
Only 3 runs in 2 games today. That’s not going to cut it in tournament play. Win the series against Hofstra and a couple more of those mid-week games and CofC is probably in the tourney. The mid-week pitching early in the season was especially poor.

Pathetic attendance for tourney. Total by the day.
Day1-379
Day2-402
Day 3-373
Todays numbers not available yet . Tourney should at least be held at a sits where host team legitimate thread to make the tourney every year

Re: CAA tourney
Well, the CAA pretty much had the worst-case scenario for this tournament. The three closest teams to Harrisonburg (JMU, W&M, Towson) all out of the tourney, and none of the schools except maybe UNCW and us were going to bring anything more than friends and family.
Play it in Charleston or Wilmington and you’d probably triple those numbers.

Re: CAA tourney
4 seed UNCW beats Northeastern in the second game of the finals to clinch the auto bid in the NCAAs. Northeastern should get an at-large, with an RPI in the 30s and good resume, but on the bubble right now.

Re: CAA tourney
Final day attendance 287. Probably at least 200 of those UNCW fans. Total for whole tourney 1441. Tourney here or at UNCW one day would have probably beat that.

Re: CAA tourney
NU gets selected at large so CAA gets 2 teams in. Shows CAA has more national respect in baseball than some think.
