Well, after last weekends results, we are officially in the tournament. Hard to believe this league is the worst in recent memory that the winner will be an automatic 4 seed.
The top 6 are so close together that we could feasibly win the conference if we sweep Delaware and everyone loses all 3. I do not expect that to happen as UNCW, Northeastern and William and Mary all play the bottom 3 in the conference this weekend. Elon's conference schedule is done (they are at 12-12) so JMU, Towson and Hofstra are all out of the tournament; nothing to play for. We are not playing well on the road so lose all 3, we will stay in 5th by virtue of a series win over Elon. Win all 3, we would need UNCW and William and Mary to lose 2 games each this weekend to finish in 2nd. If Northeastern wrapped us a gift and lost all 3, we would win the league.
It looks like we will be playing on Wednesday and if you know anything about the CAA tourney, it's not set up for seeds 3-6 to win this thing. W&M was the exception last year thanks to some rain delays.
