Baseball opener this weekend at Georgia. First game today at 5pm in Athens, then Saturday and Sunday at 1. Will be interesting to see how we look against a SEC club to start. Ober starting today.

Nice win today 9-3. Ober with a good start. Cougars led throughout after the 2nd inning. First ever win over Georgia.

Another huge win today, 15-6 over the Bulldogs. Love started, pitched 4 1/3 innings. It was 15-1 after the top of the 5th inning. Got a bunch of our freshman pitchers in. A chance for a series sweep tomorrow.

Not as good pitching on Sunday as on Friday & Saturday. Now we'll see about a mid-week starter against a very eager-to-win defending national champion, playing 9 games in 11 days to start the season.
