Our main man Andrew Goudleock was the MVP of the entire G League in the 2012-2013 season and it never amounted to squat.

After winning G League MVP, he was signed by the Lakers at the end of the same 2012-2013 season and appeared in 2 playoff games for the Lakers where he saw his most minutes in any 2 NBA games.

He never returned to the G League and went over seas.

He appeared in a few games for the Houston Rockets in 2016 and that was his last look at the league.

The most minutes he got in the NBA were in 2011-2012 after being drafted as a back up with the Lakers (all before his exile to the G League the next season). He averaged more than 10 minutes a game in that season with the Lakers.

As I am sure most are aware he's been an accomplished overseas player and usually plays the starring role for those teams.

So here's hoping that Jarrell's G League success takes him somewhere but its hardly an indicator of any sort of future in the NBA.

Here's hoping he sees some time with the Jazz real soon.

Doubtful any of them make a huge impact in the NBA but found it interesting three former CAA players were on the western div of the g league all star team and those same 3 were part of the winning 3 on 3 last year. Shows the CAA as a whole may be better than some think

Brantley barely misses out on G-League Rookie of the Year, finishing as the runner-up.

Devontae Cacok finished third.

Brantley with 13 points 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Jazz tried him everywhere including point center. He had a couple highlight plays. Check out the game highlights. It was against the spurs young guys but still makes you hopeful.

Brantey active status today but saw no action first half. ESPN box score shows active players each game. Nba box score shows all seventeen active before playoffs.

Brantley got his first playoff minutes today. 0/3 from the field with 2 offensive rebounds.

It's the playoffs and most teams tighten their rotations. Though as I said before even the Jazz beat writers admit that JB would be better off on a different team.

Joe Chealey will play for the Jazz in summer league. His pal Jarrell must've put in a good word for him.

Good news.
Hornet's keep drafting guards so I anticipate Grant's days in Charlotte are numbered too.

Jazz extended a qualifying offer to JB. No idea how that works / what the terms would coming off a 2nd two-way contract but it makes Jarrell a restricted free agent. Hornets are walking away from Malik monk so maybe room for Grant but his best opportunity is anywhere but Charlotte.

As soon as the Hornets described not really targeting Grant pre draft but essentially drafted him for value I felt a pit in my stomach. He has had the opposite experience to Jarrell, who was very carefully developed.

That said Grant may struggle in the NBA(though I had felt he could find a home as a second unit scorer). He is too small to be a two. At his size only unicorns make it. He has elite quickness but it probably is a little less impressive when pitted against the longer, bigger, faster NBA.

Therefore everything depends on him transitioning to the 1 spot.

edit: Addendum
Looks like he is on their summer league roster(Charlotte).

Hornets just signed 2 guys to two-way contracts, neither named grant riller. Time for his agent to get to work and get him the hell out of Charlotte.

Chealey had one good game for summer league team but it was obviously a tryout for foreign scouts. Now signed with an Israeli team. Good for you Joe make some money before you transition to coaching.
