Hopefully the three times a charm trick works.
I think we can beat them but it's gonna be tough.

Best conference game we played all year...
You knew that the game in Long Island last week was not going to be an accurate picture of what the cougs were capable of. We were ragged and beaten to every ball. Was it fatigue or was Hofstra just that much better. Well we got our answer tonight. We were fresh, Meeks looked healthy, the staff was prepared.
Unsung heroes:
Horton deserved the start and produced. Key and 1 play when we were reeling, led the team in rebounds.
The Bigs:
Game 1 against Hofstra: 11 minutes zero points, zero rebounds for Osi and Charles
Game 2: 18 minutes 2 points, 3 rebounds for both
Tonight Osi had 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 22 minutes. Way to go big guy.
Meeks what can you say. He is as advertised. One of the rare transfers that lives up to the hype fully. You saw the full array of things he does tonight.
Swamp mentioned the first half which was glorious, but the second where we could have panicked or folded when Hofstra seemed to be hitting everything and pulled within a few possessions. Instead we let Hofstra run out of gas and stretched the lead to end it. That's Growth! All of that and Underwood barely played!
I wanted the guys to get a win in tournament play. To get the monkey off our back. No we are playing with house money.

+1 on Osi. Thought he was really good yesterday.
Another unsung hero(s) - the defense on Astrada. Thought Tuck, Baba and Rae did a really nice job bothering him.
