Boy oh boy Sapakoff must be licking his chops right about now. If Furman wins, a front page exposé will probably appear again about how we should have never left the SoCon

Re: Furman Saturday
That's just a reflection of how.much the socon has gotten publicity. Furman is a favorite there this year.
They are 3-0 but two wins are against non d1s and the only d1 win is against usc upstate who is horrendous.
I'm optimistic

Sorry effort by CofC. Not as close as final score.

Absolutely pathetic. This is what happens when your strong point is recruiting, but you no longer recruit well. I don’t see this being a good year and next year we will be without Galloway and Payton.

Run high ball screens over and over and over. Scouting us is easy.
BG looked irritated and disinterested.
DK and ZJ and DE had some energy.
Dont even remember seeing the st joe transfer play.

Re: Furman Saturday
Getting trucked at home by furman is not a good look...
Most given up OOC at home during the Earl Grant era
If you can hit deep threes our vanilla D cant answer(See our games against Hofstra )... Though Obviously there was a so much more wrong today.
I cant say that I watched the second half though we couldn't even win it is a bit disappointing.
Lorenzo Edwards averaged 6 points a game as a "senior" in a doormat St.Joes. Why did we think he was going to add anything? I see no reason starting him moving forward.
6-14 from the free throw line? If half our offense is predicated by attacking the rim and getting to the line how is this possibly going to be successful.
Galloway looks out of shape.
At least we do have some really good recruits coming in.

Re: Furman Saturday
Probably worst game since the first year of Grant. There were some BAD ones that year. But when we went down 13 6 minutes into the game, it was almost over then.
You can’t count on the crowd this year to give your team energy. And since CofC has a lot of older ticket holders who opted out, that leaves us a very small crowd. I think at least 2/3 of our STHs opted out. We’ll see how the Marshall game looks, but it is definitely apparent.
There hasn’t been more than 1,000 at either home game. I thought Furman would bring a bigger turnout, but that wasn’t the case. Furman’s 50 people were as loud as most of ours.
King showed more energy in the couple of minutes we had that 8-0 run than almost anybody all day.
He shows a lot of promise.

Still irritated about it.
Furman is better. Give em credit.
We were unprepared and uninspired. Coaches take the heat on both.
Agree on DK.
