Turkey and a $20 Event to Support Homeless

Post by cougfan2008 »

Happy Monday fellow Cougar fans! As an alum, I am so excited to be promoting this event that gives back to the community tomorrow. Our very own Clyde will be there tomorrow morning to greet participants.

As an SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) partner, One80 Place provides temporary assistance to Veterans to help them get back on their feet. Veterans who stay with us are served 3 meals a day, and have access to medical care, legal services and more. We are making great progress toward the goal of ending Veteran homelessness. You can help! If you are able to and would like to support our Veterans, click on the link below and donate. This is in the true spirit of Thanksgiving. One80 Place will be hosting the annual Turkey and a $20 drive TOMORROW from 7 am-4 pm. I encourage all to come by and participate as Lowcountry community members (for those that live within city limits). Just bring an uncooked turkey and $20 (or more).

If your schedule allows, stop by and take a selfie with one of the many local celebrity mascots (Clyde the Cougar, Chick-Fil-A cow, and many more).

You will have the opportunity to win a prize. Just bring your business card!

I can’t think of a better way to kick off the “Giving Season” and we look forward to seeing you all! If you can't make the event, you can always give online at the link below.
