Big weekend for women's soccer, as CofC plays two P5 schools at home. Miami Friday night and Clemson Sunday afternoon. Texas is also playing in the tournament.

Its a shame they cancelled Friday night. They should just play on the town rec fields if they are worried about tearing up the college grass.

There was lightning all over the place, so that's why the game couldn't be played. Plus they had two games scheduled, so CofC wouldn't have taken the field till probably 10pm.

Ok, didn't know about the lightning. Wonder why they didn't play today?

That's a shame they didn't get that Miami match in Saturday. Soccer players are used to playing two games in two days. We could have used the experience going forward. They were here, what a waste of money & time. Watching todays match, they need all the experience they can get. Anyone have a clue?

This team is very young. Starting two freshmen with several other freshman contributors is tough. The Tigers controlled most of the possession in what I saw.
No, it didn't make sense that the game wasn't rescheduled. Texas and Miami flew here and all they got was one game. They would have made more money if they had played yesterday.

ya, i'm not questioning the play of our young team, i'm calling out all the ad's and coaches who seem to think this gravy train is going to continue in its current outdated unaffordable model. Writings on the wall gents.

Great day for soccer program. Women go into VCU and win in OT 1-0 on a goal from a freshman, Jessica Schifer. Men won 3-1 over Seton Hall, playing well almost the entire game. Nico Rittmeyer had two goals.

Lundy has a talented group, very talented. The play in the attacking third was fun to watch. Cougs got skills. Good season coming up. The soccer gods owe us for giving us no breaks last season. Great to hear the girls won, they need that early win. The hoops team said everyone is jelling, new guys are fitting right in and the coaches are happy.
