After the dust settled today, a monster logjam has been created in the standings. Elon is a lock for the 1 seed. We need to win only one game to lock up 2nd. Doesn’t matter which one. If we get swept, which is a distinct possibility, we finish no worse than 4th. Towson has been eliminated from tournament possibility. It’s now anyone’s guess how 3-8 will finish. The tie breakers are mins boggling.

Four teams can still tie us and two of those hold tie breakers over us. One win is all we need..

Need 1 win or 1 UNCW and wm and Mary loss to clinch 2 seed. Our pitching has been atrocious last few weeks

We got our win (16 innings) and bye for the tournament. Very big deal for thin pitching staff.
Sure had a lot of LOB. Good pitching after giving up the early 6 runs. Thought we might be going another 23 innings.

I watched the entire thing and thought the same. We had 6 LOB by the 9th. 16 by the end of the game. We had so many chances to end it earlier. It would be nice to sweep this leading into the tournament, but with how much we used last night, I’ll be happy with 2. It would be a good idea to lose these last two and hope for a JMU sweep over UNCW that would keep the Seahawks out.

Save our pitchers for the tournament. I've wanted to see Dupree pitch an inning.

Great outing for Griffin today. Left with a no hitter through 6. Ocker and Lucas come in and finish up the shut out on a one hitter. Delaware has been eliminated from tournament consideration. Northeastern will be the 3 seed. JMU has qualified with seeding up in the air. If JMU and Hofstra win, UNCW will be eliminated. William and Mary would be the 6 seed, Hofstra 5 and JMU 4. If UNCW and W&M win, it’s still a mess and not sure how the tiebreakers roll.

We sweep with a 5-2 win. Hofstra lost to w&m so they are now the last to be eliminated.
1) Elon 2) CofC 3) Northeastern 4-6 still a mess between W&M, JMU and UNCW.

Northeasterns surprise loss to Towson threw the tiebreakers further into a mess. I don’t like our draw now.

This past weekend makes me think McLarty will start the second game no matter who we face the first one

"I don’t like our draw" Grouch. Our draw better than Towson, Hofstra, Deleware, etc.

Brutal way to lose tonight. 1-0 in 14 innings. No extra base hits all game for CofC. Manzo thrown out trying to steal 2nd to end game after his hand came off the bag.
CofC will play Northeastern at 11am today in an elimination game.

This team lost the game when Hart tried to come home. We are toast rest of this tourney. We have 1 decent starter

Wow! Another great start by a starting pitcher. Must be because of the amazing coaching/recruiting we now have

Only fans that never take their maroon shaded glasses off would be surprised by the results in this tourney

Holbrook guided this team to 36 wins even though they had one decent SP. Another guy that was supposed to be a weekend guy was out for the year.
Other than a few JUCOs and the freshmen he had, basically the whole team was Heath and Monte’s recruits. Next two years will tell the tale.

36 wins mean little to me considering our schedule. 28-4 against teams with worse than a 150 rpi. One of those losses to CSU.with an rpi over 200. 8-17 against teams better than 150 rpi. Only 1 team that even may be a lock for an at large bid. Just do not see 36 wins with that schedule impressing anyone.
