Have to make room for 4 good-looking incoming freshman.
I know, you can't tell if they're good until they've played.

For every senior that comes back NCAA is allowing an extra ship.

Can't blame him for dreaming. Hope he decides to stay. Really need Galloway.

Gut Punch...

Explains why Earl kept recruiting guards.
Zep always seemed like the perfect person to shepherd in a new talented group of Cougs. Great work ethic, good kid.

We are barren at the pg position.
Tucker doesnt seem ready to run the show. D'Avian looked smart in limited time, but man its a huge dropoff.

Oh and if I were to speculate his destination then my guess is Pitt.

Like a dozen schools already have contacted Zep since he joined. Including Auburn, Georgia, Seton Hall and Arkansas. Defensive guards are a premium...

Epps has now hit the portal. So the only guy left in the starting lineup from Sunday’s game against Drexel is Tucker.

Galloway the only senior. At least in a couple seasons it looks like we’ll have another experienced team. Hopefully.

Speaking of brutal - Tyson Walker is leaving Northeastern. Big hit for NU and the CAA.

I think what you are seeing is the new reality of College Basketball.

Im curious how King's career ends up. It wasnt looking good when every time he came in it just looked more and more crazy and out of control. Shame the kid didnt want to stick around and try to get better.

Epps tried to make it work as a 3. He is not a D1 basketball 4.
He got starterish minutes 22-23 mpg, but I wonder if he saw it getting worse with Copeland emerging and Horton coming in. Though given how half the squad is leaving thats a tough narrative.

Earl really has the sword of Damocles hanging on him now.

King leaving? Rumor or fact?

He's in the transfer portal. On social media he thanked CEG and Charleston for the opportunity to play there.

Now we have 3 or potentially 4 ships to give if Samba doesn’t return.
He is on schedule to graduate.
If Willis & Galloway return next year the lose of Jasper would be greatly
diminished.
The current recruiting class has more potential then any during the Grant tenure.

I think Willis is gone. Though I would be very pleasantly surprised if he stayed.
We will have to look for a vet point guard.

I could see Brevin staying to try and recover from the ACL. He will not be able to transfer with that injury and any pro prospects are really nerfed.

Willis not a prospect to be a highly paid pro. Coming back he could finish his Master's for free and be more ready to deal with the real world.

"Pitt Leans on Charleston Connection in Recruiting Transfer Guard Zep Jasper | Pittsburgh Sports Now" https://pittsburghsportsnow.com/2021/03 ... ep-jasper/

Pitt leaning in on Jasper. If you ask me that's the best option for him. Milan Brown is there. They have literally nothing at point.

With Grant going to BC could that be Jasper's next team

Especially since you can assume Earl is gonna try and pull Milan up to Boston with a raise.
