Great game. We hadn’t played a double OT game since that infamous Wojcik game against UNCW when both teams went scoreless through an entire OT. Zep Jasper is finally reaching his potential. Nothing in the first half, but 21 in the second half and OT. Singlehandedly has won us 2 games this year. Two huge 3 shot fouls. We wouldn’t have gone to OT if he hadn’t made all 3 free throws at the end to cut it to 1.
It looked like we were a step slow for much of the 2nd half then we stepped it up in the final couple of minutes. That would have been a awful maybe season-defining L.
Darius Rucker was on hand today.

That was fun. #2 for Towson. Goodness. Props to him. Towson is 3-11? I liked the rotations, the bench play, the rebounding.

Towson had 4 players over 40 minutes today. We had 1. Our next was 35. We should have the fresher legs tomorrow. Our not playing for 20 days could hurt us in that regard though. Our rust showed up in first 5 minutes. 4 totally unforced tos

That's a less physically imposing Towson team than Skerry usually rolls out. Zane Martin was a force, but he started to fade by the end. Wonder how much he has left in the tank tomorrow. Seems like the layoff really hurt Brendan's momentum. Hopefully it's just rust.
This squad seems to have an amazing knack at of hitting desperation big time threes.
Agree with DJ that Copeland has tons of potential. Could be a star for us next year.

Nice we weren't outcoached during o.t. Good substitutions. I probably wouldn't have had Copeland in at the end. What do I know? I agree Towson looked tired. Shocked at Martin's t.o. near end of regulation. We get Harvey back for next weekend. Would have won by 10 if he'd played yesterday.

Apparently Towson did not have two key front court members because of COVID. That explains some things. Why this Towson team was so undersized by their standard. Why they went out of their way to win game one and get the split(riding a few starters)

Our best win of the season. Coming at the right time. 4 of 6 at home in the CAA we’ve won. The only two Ls were last possession losses to Northeastern. And this weekend was without one of our key big guys.
Just need to stay healthy. 5 of 7 since the opening conference L.

Glad to get the win over a Towson team that's had nothing left in the tank.
Skerry put all his chips on the table to try and sneak a win with a shorthanded squad and crapped out by timely shooting by the cougs.
This squad has more guys that can hit a three than we have had in years. Barring a big slump it will be Earl's best 3 point shooting team ever.
No reason belaboring the lackadaisical stretch when the cougs went into cruise control.
We continue to perform better on gameday 2. Pattern has held in every conference series.
So due to COVID JMU will duck us.... We will see how that affects the standings. Huge 4 game stretch moving forward. Is three wins possible?

Possible to sweep Elon here. Not sure about a win at Hofstra. That would be sweet. Hope gocougsgo has a safe trip to NYC.

4 of last 6 scheduled games against bottom 2 teams. 3 of those at home. Could end up with some unscheduled mid week games. Have had other teams make up games that way. Would mean mid week trips to w and m and jmu
