Looks like we are going to have this one on Wednesday night at TD. We beat Marshall last year at their place with a great performance from Riller. Obviously things will be different this year.
CofC is a 7 point dog on KenPom. Marshall is 2-0 with their last game being a 16 point road win at Wright State.
Kinsey, their star is averaging 24 through 2 games.

Hopefully this team gets on track. Did not expect world beaters this year but did expect a little better than what I have seen. Admiit still a small sample but my opinion King and Copeland need 30 minutes plus a game. Would like to see a lot more of King and Smart together on court

Well this was an improvement, i guess. It didn't look like a total dumpster fire.
This is the worst defensive team of the CEG era so far. It will be interesting to see how much that gets better over the course of the year. Since it's supposed to be what we hang out hat on.
If it doesn't then it will be a long year, cause our offense seems to be built on the guards hitting low percentage shots.
Galloway looked a lot better just from an energy level perspective. His shot selection left something to be desired.
King is an out of control Colt but you got to keep feeding him minutes. He is by far the most talented of the guys in the 4 spot.
That was a tough team to defend. We struggle particularly against modern centers who sit away from the basket. Pull Osi out who isn't comfortable there and leaves no one underneath to rebound.
I would to see us start mixing in some other defensive lools like zone and press.

King could be an All-CAA player next year if he keeps this up.
Brevin tried 16 3 pointers tonight and made 6. Epps played 19 minutes and didn’t score a point.
What was good this game was the last four minutes of the first half. We could have been blown out of the building, down 20+ at half and instead we came back and tied it. But we couldn’t continue that energy in the 2nd half.
The crowd was a little more energized tonight (a couple hundred more people showed up), but we need to get off to fast starts almost every game with the offense we have. We cannot afford to be playing catchup down 5-10 halfway through the first half.
