Game today is at 4:30 eastern against Providence. The game will be or ESPNU. Another tough team in this tournament. CofC hasn’t played a Big East team since Villanova in the 16-17 season.

We’re about a 9 to 10 point dog in this depending on what service you look at.

This has been a wacky tournament so far. Long Beach State came back from 17 down to beat PC yesterday in the game prior to ours, Penn beat UCF because a UCF guy’s foot was on the line, and Arizona needed a last-second shot to beat Pepperdine.

Don’t give up ‘em. We’re due a hot hand and better floor decisions.

Hot take: Riller, Brevin, and Zep combine for 45 points,10 assists, and 5 steals. Epps gets 10 points. Go Cougs!

What lost the game against WF won it for us today. Rebounding and free throws

What won it for us was Sam was not in the game and dribbling. Saved ourselves 5 turnovers and the points that go with said turnovers.

I guess in retrospect Providence was a bit of a paper tiger. They hadnt really beaten anyone.
All their wins were against cupcakes. That said their backcourt length bothered the heck out of us early on. Zep uncharacteristically shaky.

This is the winning blueprint for us. As Tommy said we cant survive the type of game we had the other day. With Grant off, awful FT shooting and getting obliterated on the boards. We didnt look good.

Seemed like coach shook things up today essentially benching Miller, Richard and Reddish all who had been mainstays but struggling.
We saw more Osi, Mcluney and Tucker.
Osi man... We havent had an athletic big like him in ages. Still rough around the edges.
Mcluney is still a bit panicked when he is there but his length is needed and stuff should settle down for him once he gets more minutes.
Tucker looks like he belongs, he should be getting about 10 minutes a night.

Tucker and Epps gave us good minutes today. Smart continues to improve. I really like McCluney - he's long and can defend and rebound - if he develops a mid-range game, he can be very good. Riller was amazing as usual.

That stat that sticks out most for me was bench scoring: 4 points all by Tucker
6th man: Ricard + Miller Zero Points

They only played like 4 minutes combined, so why single them out for 0 points?

What we the technical on tour for at tree end of the game?
