Official attendance last night 4040. Total for 3 sessions 9414. On pace to be lowest attendance of 3 CAA tourneys in Charleston but still good enough to beat the previous 3 in Baltimore

I would guess around 5500 tonight...Bill and Mary going down knocked out the second biggest contingency. CAA has got to praying that the shooting gods favor is tonight or the championship game will be played in front of 8000 empty seats....will be lots of tight shots
Of the bands for sure!

William and Mary crowd reminds me of The Davidson crowd, mostly elderly, Lilly white, polite for the most part, not real knowledgeable as a whole but there to cheer for their Tribe and for the most part good sports. UNCW on the other hand, holy crap....I started pulling for Elon just because of them. One guy actually yells out that it’s time to rough somebody up with a couple minutes left in yesterday’s game. I’ve always had a great time up at Trask and have never been subjected to anything more than some good old fashioned ribbing but, at least the UNCW fans that were sitting around me Sat and Sun, were a totally different animal....think of Georgia Southern fans during that couple years when that used car salesman of a coach and the parolled felon playing point guard had Waffle House U near the top of the SoCon...insufferable.

It's a select few of their message board posters that annoy me.

Someone apparently got to cougarsurf as well, I don't think he likes them much either.

IMO JWF gets a foul call in this game if someone sneezes near him. 4 3's in the 2nd half so far by the freshman Horton of Delaware.

Delaware with some great doubling of JWF late game and in OT - if Hosftra wins, they've set a template for defending him in the clutch.

Hofstra survives....
Kudos to Delaware making them work their tail off.
Michalik used 6 guys. Whoever they face Hofstra will be feeling it in their legs tommorow.

NU a 2 point favorite. I think Hof finally runs out of gas.

Place looks empty. Sad top two teams do not have better fan support. If this was CofC vs UNCW playing tourney final there would be minimum of 4000 fans in attendance even if played in Boston

My prediction before the game - NE by 12. That might have been low - they are up by 16 at half. You could tell last night that Hofstra ran out of gas. I was convinced that whoever won our game would win it all because Hofstra's 6 man rotation with 1 scorer is just not made for the tournament. Makes last night hurt a little more.

NE wins by 8. Honestly felt like they were the best CAA team this year. Coen is one hell of a coach and recruiter.

That being said, can't help but think that we were one questionable charge call and a missed layup away from back to back championships...

Northeastern was under seeded because of their injuries. They are probably top seed if they stay healthy through conference play.

They will be a tough matchup for anyone.
