It’s a 4 ET start. And other Fox networks are carrying it. Specifically Fox Sports Southeast in the Charleston area (Channel 28 on Comcast). About 15 Fox regionals in all.

Probably on Fox Sports Go as well.

Only a 2 game sample but they have hit 46% of their 3 point attempts. 5 players ave 10 points a game or better and I think all 5 have hit at least one 3

Hope the shooting gods are in our favor today. Cougs are shooting 24% from three so far this season - by far the worst in the CAA.

Okla St much better than the team that lost at Charlotte their first game of the season with a key player out

38% from the floor and 19% from three. Can't win on the road with those stats.

Brantley and McManus has nice games on the bright side.

5/25 from 3 and 2/14 FGs for Riller. A good chunk of those 3s were open. That’s the difference in the ballgame. Basically 3 halves. First 16 we played well, then about 10-12 minutes of really bad, then played decently well for the rest.

It wouldn't surprise me if Rillers transition to facilitator is cutting into his scoring ability.
Individual skill development that was largely focused on shooting now is on PG play.
As I recall similar thing happened to Steph Curry in year 3 Davidson.
It's portant for him in context of the next level but the team suffers.

Grant’s style of hard nosed defense and trying to out athlete the other team on offense is great for CAA where we have arguably the most athletic/talented team, but has shown not successful against power 5 teams who are bigger/quicker than we are. The mid-majors that are able to play with the big boys usually do it on three point shooting and ball movement. As long we play this style we will never be more than what we accomplished last year. Which is fine with me for now since it took us close to 20 years to break the NCAA drought.

The Ok St. coach has an interesting history.
Furman, then an associate head coach under Mike Young at Wofford. Then Darrin Horn's staff.

If you look at the box score. This wasn't the traditional "loss" that Earl has had against P5 teams. They didnt hammer us on the boards. We had more offensive touches.
We simply missed a ton more shots than they did. And frankly this shooting issue has been here from the beginning of the season. We just can overpower the Presbyterians and Western Carolinas of the world. And URI came to TD and shot worse than us.

That said point taken on your post. Almost want to start its own thread with it.

Not a team in the CAA they would have beat shooting as miserable as we shot last night.

Some of that bad shooting was OSU. They were quicker than any team in CAA. Riller was struggling to turn the corner on them all night. At least 3 of his blocked shots wouldn't have been blocked in caa play. That said, teams are going to focus on him and he needs to be better at getting the ball to others. He did that fantastically with RI. Not so much last night.
