First away game for these freshmen. How will they react to a hostile crowd. Game time at noon. WCU has a football game later in the day and all their fans with a football ticket get in free for our game. Expect more fans than their norm for basketball. This is a should win game but strange things can happen

If you post at 12:49 pm Thursday and 4:48 am Friday, when are you getting your 8 hours sleep?

I see 8:22 am on the post, which is when I posted it.
Savannah Brewmeister, can you straighten out a couple of dark-beer-loving oldsters?

I think they're on 910 a.m. but ESPN game day (Clemson at Boston College) may be on 98.9 f.m.?
Mens game not on CAA on ROKU but girls game scheduled there at 2 p.m.

Overall pleased considering number of players who played and experimenting with different line ups. Grant finding out who can play these first 2 games.
Expect rotation will get shorter moving forward

I may be in the minority but I cant help but feel we really miss Pointer.
Our rotations on defense seemed a little slow which gave them numerous good looks at a three.
I think Pointer would help dampen that and provide us with more cohesiveness on offense. Right now we are a lot of Riller hero ball.
Also shows us how vulnerable we can be if one of the big 2 get in foul trouble.

Harris incredibly seems more slow than years past. Not sure if he is hurt or just didn't put in the work in the offseason.
He is almost nonfunctional. Kind of reminds me of late career Baru when the knees just betrayed him.

The kids look promising but it is mass chaos when a bunch of them are in there.

Guess Pointer will be back soon?
Also think Miller will make a difference.

Hearing that Pointer should be back by mid-December. I think they are shooting for the VCU or Georgia College games. Miller is eligible once exams end, which I believe is the VCU game.

Have not seen where anyone has said we do not miss Pointer. Meanwhile I am very pleased with the job Jasper, Galloway, Richard and Moore have done. No they've not perfect but getting valuable real game experience which will only bode well down the road. Also Grant has used a lot of players with a lot of different combinations these first 2 games. You can not expect perfection with that scenario. Watch the last ten minutes of both games when he shortened the rotation and you see a lot more cohesive effort on the court. From what I have observed in crunch time this team is coming through with a more realistic rotation.
On. different subject seeing is believing when it comes to Miller. He came from a program no better than ours and did very little there. I hope the high expectations are correct but have my reservations until watching him in a few real games here
