I think they have offers out to a few guys, but no one can commit until April 15. If they can get one of those guys, they will. If not, they'll look at transfers/JUCO. All I know is that they said they are definitely going to use that scholarship on someone bigger than 6'8".

Verbal Commits shows 2 Centers we are going after. Do we have 1 or 2 Scholarships to give? We been on Javarzia Belton for a few year but he is getting several Power 5 offers. I know Samba has some kind of academic scholarship. Don't know if it is partial or full. https://verbalcommits.com/schools/college-of-charleston

Cougars offered Tallahassee (JuCo) 6-5 guard Tariq Silver. Started his career at Eastern Michigan, shot 45.5% from three on nearly 6 attempts per game.

Still the same "I still can’t explain what happened to us late in the season," refrain we heard after the 4 game losing streak, and again after the CAAT. If CEG can't explain it, who can? I don't totally agree with the "we didn't make a play here or there" part either. The Hofstra game was a wire-to-wire blowout, and we went 10 game minutes without a point against Northeastern. That, plus the fact that we found ourselves in close games against the bottom-feeders is what had fans so frustrated. No clarity on Osi either. But good to hear we're open to transfers and are looking for bigs and scorers.

I assume this will mean that Brevin slides to 2 along side Zep.
At the 3 spot we will have a longer guard that can still provide offensive game.

Keegan Harvey. 6’11” stretch 4 from Australia. Looks to have a similar skill set to Sam Miller.
Would not surprise me to see 1 more departure and thus 1 more recruit.

He spent this season at Monteverde - the top high school team in the country this season and a perennial powerhouse. He is teammates with Cade Cunningham - the #1 prospect in this class who we'll see next season against OK State. But it looks like Harvey was buried on the bench and played sparingly. Not much out there on his recruiting beside from a range of programs expressing interest.

I think its a worthwhile kid to take a gamble on.
That HS likely isnt going to take kids that arent solid, there is a pre-selection process there.
Its possible that he has talent and just didn't get to show it cause he was buried on the depth chart.
I like the idea of getting an international with upside. Andrew Lawrence got us some terrific publicity. This kid could as well.
Highlight reels can be a bit deceptive. The kid looks coordinated for a big man which is good. You are gonna have to protect him with some bruisers though if he doesnt bulk up.

Don’t know anything about this kid and hard to glean much from the YouTube clips, but Montverde was absolutely loaded. They had the number 3, 4 and 11th ranked players nationally for the class of 2020.
