We have 7 or 8 Scholarships to give. Currently 5 Freshmen signees/verbal commits. So we have 2 or 3 more to give. Wintrhop Grad Transfer guard Charles Falden & Soph. guard Josh Corbin would be great gets! This was updated on CofC sports yesterday. Is Tucker coming back now? Everyone else that announced they were leaving has been deleted from roster

Josh Corbin is returning to Winthrop, per his Twitter. Prosser is starting a little "run it back campaign" of his own.
I like the Ali pickup as well. Scooping up Radford's leading scorer and best passer (who happens to have 4 years of eligibility remaining) is a good first transfer to bring in. He didn't shoot it great (38% FG) but has plenty of time to grow.

NC State transfer Nick Farrar commits to COFC. 6’6 260. Played sparingly as a freshman.

At this point we will have 10 players with 4 years of eligibility left next season. Covid rules give this year's freshmen an extra year. By those rules Copeland and Samba can both play 2 more years if they choose to

Not a lot of Elder statesmen. Kelseys using Earl's rebuild model. Getting underclassmen that will grow together.

My guess is we aren’t done with the portal and I wouldn’t be surprised to see us pick up a good wing.

I know it doesn't mean much but is that the first 3-star commitment we've ever heard? I think Tucker might have been a 2. I know it doesn't mean much Swamp.

Baru only one over a 2 star I remember. I know it has to be proven on court but on paper looks good

Depends on the site you use, but we've had three 3-stars on Verbal Commits the past few years: Evan Bailey, Marquise Pointer, Sam Miller. Everyone else was a 2-star.

Winthrop played an interesting style under Kelsey. They play little or no frontcourt players. Similar roster construction to UNCW under Keatts. Though smaller emphasis on the 3(at least this year).
So we may not see many more frontcourt players. You have to assume one more traditional 5 will come.

Guessing fans would like to see Harvey get more minutes. Someone said he was invisible, like Harvey the rabbit. He should eat cheeseburgers twice a day, too.

Epps transferred to Hampton in the Big South. A heavy junior/senior loaded team. Should get more playing time.

Is there a reason Ogom omitted from cofcsports latest roster?. Tucker still on it?

Tomorrow opening day for signing new recruits. We have 5 unsigned but committed. Will they all sign? Always a question until their name is on the dotted line

Transfers no longer sit out.... This will revolutionize college bball. Examples like Tyson Walker are going to be commonplace with guys having success for a year or two and then transfering to P5.
Need to be ready to adjust.
