From the w&m board, emphasis added

Still time, but so far I don't see how we can stop Hofstra, or Riller, or Northeastern

I was just amused that hee named two teams and one player

Some expected wins and some expected losses. NU overt eastern Michigan is nice. Elon losing to BU and w&m losing to George Mason sucks. Pierce played, don't know if he was 100% though. OOC the CAA is not good this year.

JMU beat Radford
May not seam like much but Radford had already beaten Notre Dame and Texas this year. Seems like they are going to be a player in the CAA this year.

Not CAA, but the Gamecocks lose to a 2-6 Wyoming team on the road that had only beaten Grambling and Richmond.

VCU beats Texas on the road. UNCW with a 28 point L at UNC.

File it under the maybe we are better than we think we are... But UAB is taking Auburn to overtime. May lose but impressive for a team that looked horrible against us.

UNCW loses by 43 to Furman.... Two non D1's played them closer. Furman is legit I get it, but thats unacceptable.
CB McGrath tenure at UNCW is looking more and more like a mistake. CJ Bryce followed Keatts and Cacock stayed. Wonder if he regrets it now.
He probably gets a third year, but if I were our neighbors I would start looking at resumes.

When healthy NU will be very tough. I expect Hofstra to be hard to beat also. Hofstra may have an overall weak ooc but they did take VCU to overtime

Do not rule out a suddenly resurgent Delaware.

Real time obviously does not think we are a good team

The "bad" teams on our schedule are really dragging us down.

All the rating systems are pretty weird right now, particularly the NET ratings.
https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketbal ... t-rankings

So Furman is 26th in the ratings system.
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... e/_/id/231
Yet beyond a superb win over Villanova they have beaten 3 Non D1's. The shine off the Loyola game has come off a bit. Though not bad, similar to our VCU win.

Wofford is 53rd: marquee win is beating an awful South Carolina team and two non D1's
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... /_/id/2747

We are 75th.

None of this may matter, but it will be intersting how seriously the NCAA takes this system.
