Hofstra comes in at #93. (#3 in the CAA)
Of course seeing Northeastern at #1 but not
even a guess at #2 in the CAA!

My guess would be Bill and the Virgin. I think we have as much if not more coming back than them or Hofstra but being somewhat disrespected should be motivation for the team.

It’s Northeasterns year to run away with this. After watching all 3 games against them last year, I don’t see how anyone keeps up.

If Richard as good as I am hearing I give us a fighting chance.

Im fine with being preseason 4th. Our 18yr olds are not filled with overhyped media about how great we are just for lacing up our chuck taylors. Gives us a little breathing room coming off the season we just had. I'm sure Grant & co will be up for the challenge come conf. time.

Completely agree.

My main concern is ballhandlers. Hope Zep gets a lot of action early.

I think earning one of the byes in the CAA tournament would be a great goal... no one can stop Riller and Brantley. Pointer will be a top 3 PG in the league. Even though Harris can be soft sometimes he still is a presence down low. Smart will get more PT and he is a bruiser

Hope Smart, Harris & Sam Miller are fighting for minutes.

This year, NU, W&M, Hofstra, CofC and UNCW all will be pretty good teams. Elon with their new arena will also be pumped up, and Drexel should be improved.

Delaware losing Daly will be huge, and Towson will be going through major rebuilding (they’re only returning 4 players). JMU will also be much improved.

Here's Jaylen Richard casually putting his elbows and head at rim level.

There will be some growing pains following the loss of Joe and Cam, but this season should have a good mix of experienced and developing players.

CAA should be pretty strong this year, NE being the clear favorite with a handful of other teams having a puncher's chance.

Call me crazy, but I think we're going to be pretty damn good again. We return 2 of the top 5 players in the league.

Pointer has had an underrated career, a little inconsistent at times but he's a top half CAA PG. And his on-ball defense is very good. Zep is an older freshman and by all accounts has the talent to play important minutes.

Still a question mark at the 3, but coach seems to have a few options - let's hope one gels.

With 4 solid starters back, yes I call Pointer a solid starter as he did start for a year and first off the bench last year, my major concern is replacing Cam. Hearing Richard can light the score board but does he play defense

I agree 100% about Cam...the consummate team guy, did whatever was asked of him.

Cam was all heart. His family did a great job raising that one. Its hard to replace what he brought.
