Radio shows stopped under WoJoke because no advertiser would pay to sponsor them. I would think now with the fan base building back up they would be able to find a sponsor to start them back

I think we had the highest ave attendance ever in TD arena this season. Too lazy.to look it up

I have a tough time believing that. I thought they used to sell out 4-5 games a year in the Cremins days.

UMBC just upset Vermont and going dancing. Suspect Towson fans are even more upset with their season now.

UGA fired their coach.
You better believe Earl is on their shortlist

I doubt he’ll take any old middling SEC job where his program would come somewhere around 5th in pecking order behind women’s gymnastics. It’d be like going to MIT to be a theater professor.

LOL, might be the first time ever UGA’s been compared with MIT. :D

I don't know man. UGA is the type of situation that scares me. That's a program that should be much better than it is; is in coach's geographic wheelhouse, and is flush with cash. As Matro said, earl will be in consideration for sure and they have life changing money to offer.

Ya, the easy payday is tough to pass up but then reality hits and you're beating your head against the wall playing & recruiting against sec teams in a pretty tight geographic area.
Gregg Marshall carverd out a pretty good niche for himself with a 7 figure contract building podunk WS by stamping his name on the program. They had a decent run in the 80s but he built the modern program. No reason Grant couldn't enjoy that in his home town school, with no football. 8-)

Will concern myself with possibility of Grant leaving after the tourney. Meanwhile why not just enjoy finally going again

Jon "This Is March" Rothstein reporting that UGA has offered the job to Thad Matta, and a decision is expected in the next 24 hours. Could be a major dodged bullet for us if he accepts.

I had a feeling once UGA was skipping the NIT and going right into hiring they had someone already waiting. Definitely dodged a bullet.

Ole Miss the next one.... Though not as natural a fit

Looks like they've picked Kermit Davis of Middle Tennessee.

Now Thad has pulled out of the UGA search. Hopefully they look at Ron Hunter or Steve Forbes instead.

Crean is rumored to UGA. I think he would be a better hire than Thad anyway.

Coach really knocked it out the park on Jim Rome.

Good interview. You'll hear him again there if we win.

I see no jobs still open I think would be enticing enough for EG to leave here
